My favorite car was the third one I owned, a charcoal grey 1993 Subaru Legacy station wagon. I didn't own it at all really because my parents bought it for me in 1999 when my previous car, a Saturn shit-box, began to die. This car ruled because it went very, very fast and was super-reliable (as most Subarus tend to be). In the summer it was the perfect car to pack up and head for the beach and in the winter it fit all of my ski equipment and other assorted crap. According to Wikipedia my car had power windows, central locking, fuel injection, air conditioning, power assist rack and pinion steering, alloy wheels, 4-wheel independent suspension with both negative scrub and anti-drive and sqat technology, anti-sway bars front and rear, and 4-wheel disc brakes. OK, another neat feature not listed was that the car did not go backwards in winter. It simply refused to go in reverse until it was ready, which was fine once I figured out that I'd need to back into any parking spot. On long drives (ie over an hour) I'd need to fill the car with a quart of oil, so I kept lots of it handy. A major perk of the Legacy is that I never needed to shovel the driveway as I'd just end up plowing through any snow with my station wagon. That was pretty handy in Vermont winters. ANYWAY, the car was glorious and I want it back.
